8th Grade: Deep Space Continues

We're now working on a model of deep space using everyday objects to represent features of deep space such as: nebulae, stars, exoplanets, galaxies. Materials should be brought to class on Monday, October 21st.

I just saw this article on how little we know about deep space:

About Me

Holly Hetzel Steffes
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
I was introduced to teaching English to people who speak other languages while in the Peace Corps in Poland, from 1992-1994. I resisted going back to school for my teaching certification in English as a Second Language, but I attended UW-Milwaukee part-time beginning in 1998 and finished in 2002 after getting married to John, and having our first daughter. I began teaching at Greenfield Bilingual K-8 school in Fall 2003 when my two daughters were 18 months and 6 months of age. Our son came along in 2006. My teaching career has been a constant balancing act between my professional and personal lives.
